The Quantitative Developer is responsible for designing, developing and maintaining the software infrastructure for quantitative trading strategies. They work closely with traders, quantitative analysts and researchers to implement, test and deploy algorithms, models and strategies for automated trading platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain the software infrastructure for quantitative trading strategies.
- Collaborate with traders, quantitative analysts and researchers to implement, test and deploy algorithms, models and strategies for automated trading platforms.
- Write high-performance code using languages such as Python, C++ and Java.
- Develop and maintain databases for storing and retrieving large volumes of financial data including crypto historical and present data.
- Develop and maintain data visualization tools for monitoring trading performance and data analysis.
- Conduct research and analysis on financial data to support trading strategies.
- Participate in code review and ensure code quality, performance and maintainability.
- Maintain and update documentation for software development processes and trading strategies.
Qualifications:
- Strong programming skills in Python, C++ and/or Java.
- Experience with data analysis, data visualization, and database design.
- Knowledge of financial markets, crypto markets , financial instruments and trading strategies.
- Understanding of quantitative finance concepts and statistical analysis techniques.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality work.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with machine learning, deep learning or artificial intelligence techniques.
- Experience with cloud-based computing platforms and distributed computing frameworks.
- Familiarity with trading platforms and financial APIs.
- Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
